Note From Principal Pautler
Hello Bulldog Families,
A Fantastic Start to the Year 🎉
We have had an amazing start to the 2025–2026 school year! From the energy on campus to our first big events, it already feels like it’s going to be a great year at Memorial. Thank you for your support in helping us kick things off so well.
School Pictures 📸
-
Grades 9–11: Picture Day is Wednesday, August 27th.
-
Seniors: If you did not have your photo taken with OSP this summer, you’ll have the opportunity for a senior photo on Monday, August 25th.
Friday Night Lights 🏈
Our first home football game is coming up on Friday, August 29th! We can’t wait to see our stands filled with Bulldog pride. You’ll find some preliminary details below, with more to come next week as we prepare for kickoff.
No School – Labor Day Weekend ✏️
Please remember there is no school on Monday, September 1st (Labor Day) and no school on Tuesday, September 2nd for a teacher professional development day.
Howdy Week Recap 🤠
We had a FANTASTIC Howdy Week! From spirited dress-up days to the evening events, it was the perfect way to start the year. We hope your student joined in the fun—and don’t worry, there’s plenty more spirit and excitement ahead this school year!
New Bus Dismissal Procedure 🚌
You may have noticed a change in our bus dismissal procedure this year. On days when the district’s hot weather criteria are met (which also requires us to hold on after-school events), we have moved to an indoor bus dismissal. While this is new for us at EMHS, we felt it was in the best interest of both our students and the administrators on duty, as our bus loop does not have an awning to provide shade.
Please note: this procedure is only used when the official weather criteria are met. Based on the forecasts, we may not need it again anytime soon, but we want you to be aware of the process.
Have an AMAZING weekend Memorial. We look forward to another great week here at what is by far the most AMAZING high school in the State of Oklahoma - EMHS!!

🏈 Friday Night Lights – First Home Football Game!
It’s that time of year—our first home football game is next Friday the 29th! With that comes a few reminders to help everything run smoothly for our Bulldog families:
-
Student IDs Required – ALL STUDENTS WILL NEED TO SHOW THEIR ACTUAL ID TO GET INTO THE GAME.
-
EMHS students: Please use the student-only entrance on the west side of the stadium (just down from the main ticket gate).
-
Middle & Elementary students: Must be accompanied by a parent who stays for the entire game. MS students will need their ID as well.
-
-
Bag Policy – We operate under a clear bag policy, but small clutch bags and diaper bags are allowed.
-
Tickets – Tickets are $10 cash at the gate or $10 plus fees online. We strongly recommend purchasing ahead of time online to skip the long lines. CLICK HERE for Online Tickets.
We’ll share more detailed information next week as we get closer to kickoff. Let’s pack the stands and cheer on our Bulldogs!

EMHS Food Pantry – How You Can Help
Our EMHS Food Pantry is an important resource that supports students and families in need, and we are grateful for the incredible community that helps keep it running strong. There are several ways you can get involved:
Volunteer Opportunities
We rely on volunteers each week to help us organize, pack, and distribute food. If you’d like to lend a hand, please sign up here:
Food Donations
We also accept food donations through our Amazon Wish List, which ships directly to EMHS. Items are sorted from highest to lowest need so you can easily see where your help makes the biggest impact.
