DMS Delivers
June 14, 2024
Dear DMS Families,
It is hard to believe that we are already headed into our last week of school. Last week, grade 4 students visited from DES. They had lunch in the DMS cafeteria, toured our building and learned all about middle school in general. We are excited to have them join us as fifth graders in the Fall.
Moving into next week, we are excited to celebrate the end of the year, especially with our 8th grade students who will be moving on to high school. We know that students are looking forward to their end of middle school celebrations. The 8th grade Luau will take place on Tuesday, June 18th from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. in the DMS gymnasium. Parents/guardians are welcome to take photos from 5:30- 6:00 p.m. The 8th grade Promotion Ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 20th at 10:00 a.m. in the DMS gymnasium. The back doors to the gym will open at 9:45 a.m. As a reminder, gym capacity allows for four people per student.
Below you will find information on the DR SEPAC meeting, as well as a DRRHS theater opportunity for Grades 7, 8 and 9. You will also find the middle school and high school Summer Reading assignment, DRRHS football sign- ups, and DMS choir/band sign- ups. In addition, there is continued information regarding DRRHS soccer, basketball camp, and the Youth Police Academy. Please also find the DR Dispatch here. As a reminder, there is no school on Wednesday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.
Have a great week!

In the event that a chromebook is damaged, lost or not working, please submit a Technology Helpdesk Ticket. Once the technicians have confirmation of the ticket, they will provide the student with a temporary device to be used while the damage is evaluated.
