NEW for the 2026-27 School Year---BOUND Registration

Attention 7th & 8th Grade Families

Beginning this school year, our district is transitioning from FinalForms to Bound for all middle school athletics. Please follow the registration prompts in Bound to sign your child up for sports and activities at MMS.

Important: Students must have a current sports physical (dated after April 1, 2026) on file before they can participate in practice. Even if your child does not plan to participate in a fall sport, now is a great time to complete their physical so they're ready for activities later in the school year.

💚 MMS Activities & Clubs 💚

Middle school is the perfect time to explore new interests, make friends, and build new skills. Joining a club, activity, or sport helps students feel connected to their school, grow as leaders, and create lasting memories. We encourage every student to find at least one way to get involved and make the most of their middle school experience! Any MMS 6th-8th graders are welcome to join any of our after school clubs!

Dungeons & Dragons (D&D): Interested in adventure, storytelling, and making your own choices? Join the Dungeons & Dragons Club and work together with other students to create characters, explore new worlds, solve problems, and battle monsters. No experience is necessary—new players are welcome! We had so many students interested, Mr. Downing separated them into Groups A & B. Group A will meet after school on Tuesdays, starting September 22nd (meet every two weeks) and Group B will meet after school on Tuesdays, starting September 29th (meet every two weeks). This club meets in the MMS Library until 4:30 p.m.

Acting Club: Meets every Thursday in Ms. Powell's room until 3:40 p.m. Come practice your performance skills, meet new people, and have fun!

Prodigy Club: Join us for a fun and engaging club where students can play Prodigy, practice math skills, complete challenges, and compete with friends. Whether you’re a Prodigy pro or just getting started, everyone is welcome! This club meets every Thursday after school in Mrs. Dressler's room until 4:00 p.m.

Coding Club: Explore coding with Scratch! Create your own games, animations, and interactive stories while learning problem-solving skills and bringing your ideas to life. This club starts November 5th and will meet every Thursday after school until 4:00 p.m. in the MMS Library.

Poetry Club: Calling all students who love words, creativity, and self-expression! Poetry Club meets every Wednesday in Mrs. Stahl’s room until 4:00 p.m. Students can explore poetry, share their writing, and have fun being creative.

Speak Up! See Something, Say Something

Every member of our school community plays a role in keeping our campus safe. If you see or hear something that could threaten the safety or well-being of a student, staff member, or school, report it immediately. Even if you're unsure whether it's serious, it's always better to share your concern than to stay silent.

Use the Speak Up app to report safety concerns, suspicious activity, bullying, threats, or anything else that may require attention. Speaking up can help prevent problems before they escalate and ensures concerns are addressed as quickly as possible.
