FBLA Students Advance to Nationals

Congratulations to our FBLA students who competed at state last week and will advance to Nationals!

CTE Spotlight - Accelerated Forensic Science

Recently, Mrs. Ring’s Accelerated Forensic Science participated in a Crime Scene Day focused on blood spatter analysis. Students entered the scene in CSI teams and had the responsibility of investigating the scene from start to finish using skills they’ve learned throughout the year. The CSI teams included a Team Lead, Lead Detective, Photographer, Sketch Artist, and Evidence Marker. The whole scene was treated with a chemical called BlueStar, and therefore all blood evidence glowed in the dark. The teams followed up the investigation by writing a crime scene report demonstrating their findings. Check out some of the photos taken by students below!

LCHS Robotics Advances

Dinner and breakfast will be served and everyone will receive a t-shirt. Best of all, this event is COMPLETELY FREE.

The Society of Women Engineers wants to encourage girls to consider college, especially the science & engineering fields. Our members will be there to answer any questions girls have about college, engineering, and life at Texas Tech.
