But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” ~ 1 Samuel 16:7

The energy on campus has been contagious, so much so that our students’ laughter and joy at recess earned us a noise complaint. That’s the kind of call I’ll gladly take every day. Keep having fun, Conquerors!

Wait...maybe that’s why the transformer blew down the street!

All jokes aside, thank you for your flexibility and grace during yesterday’s unexpected early dismissal. We’re grateful to share that all systems are back to normal, and no long-term issues resulted from the brownout. If you did not receive one of our four communications, please email me directly.

I also want to recognize Officer Dailly for his pivotal role during the power outage. He immediately contacted the village and first responders about the transformer issue and helped coordinate with the Schaumburg Police Department to assist with traffic flow. We are incredibly grateful for his presence and the quick communication he brings during situations like these.

As a reminder, please drive carefully through our parking lot. Remain calm, drive slowly, and be patient during drop-off and pick-up. For your child’s safety, make sure they exit the vehicle on the curb side—never into passing traffic.

Enjoy your weekend; we’ll see you Tuesday!
