We had a great week this week! Thank you to all the parents who have stepped up to help us with our field trip on Wednesday. We should be good to go! Students should wear spirit shirts and good walking shoes for this trip.
In Reading this week, we are studying expository text, reading What Makes a Planet a Planet? We were introduced to some tricky vocabulary words as well, and put an emphasis on parts of speech. In Math, we continue dividing with unit fractions, and we will have our test next week! In Science, we are beginning our water unit, so we looked at the water in the world, and how much of it is usable. In Social Studies, we are finishing up our State Reports, and diving deeper into the Revolutionary War. Final State Reports are due on Thursday! Students should be taking this time to finish their cover slide, make any last minute adjustments or edits, and checking their bibliographies. In Religion, we finished up our Stations of the Cross posters, and began thinking of how we can apply Lenten facets to our lives in almsgiving, prayer, and fasting.
