Principal Message
Dear WCS Community.
Happy mid-November, everyone! It’s hard to believe how quickly the month is moving, and with the holidays approaching, the building is certainly buzzing with energy. Thank you all for continuing to create such a warm, supportive environment for our students as we move into this busy season.
As many of you have noticed, our Lost and Found continues to grow. Please take a moment early next week to bring your homeroom students to the table to look through items. All remaining items will be donated on Wednesday, November 26th, so please encourage students to reclaim what belongs to them.
Grades close next week. As you are working on report cards, please remember to include a personal “glow and grow” for each student. These comments are an important way for families to understand where their child is in their learning journey. All comments are due by December 3rd at 3:00 PM. There will be no extensions, so please plan your time accordingly.
We will hold our staff meeting on Wednesday, and we’re looking forward to enjoying a fun trail mix bar with all of the treats being donated. Please drop off your items in the office so we can prepare ahead of time. If you haven’t yet donated and would like to, please take a moment to complete the spreadsheet. Since our paraprofessionals do not attend staff meetings, we will set up a trail mix station for them in the office during the lunch periods on Wednesday so they can participate as well.
Our staff meeting agenda is quite full, so thank you in advance for your attention and collaboration. As a quick reminder, Wildcat Wednesdays continue—only those wearing school or district spirit wear may dress down.
Wishing you all a restful, enjoyable weekend ahead. Thank you for everything you do!
B.J.

Schoology Updates
- By now you should see that the pass through from Schoology > PTP is running smoothly. If it is not, please reach out to Mari to troubleshoot.
- Ensure all of your syncs are continuing to be successful in Schoology. When in doubt if things are not matching up between SGY and PTP, sync over assignments again (even successful ones)
- If assignments all matchup and final grades do not match, try to "recalculate final grades" in PTP.
