🌟📚 A huge thank you to Atmos Energy for donating a book vending machine and books to W.E. Chalmers Elementary! We are thrilled to support the first elementary school in Cooke County to receive such an amazing gift from Atmos. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire our students to read and cultivate a love for learning. We feel so blessed to have your support in fostering literacy in our community! 📖❤️
Leopards Earn Academic All-State!
To be nominated for the Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All-State Team, a student must be a senior high school athlete, trainer, or manager in good standing, of good moral character, and have an overall GPA of 92 or above including courses from grades 9-11 and courses completed from grade 12 at the time of nomination.
When reviewing the nominations, the THSCA considers each students’ GPA, class rank, SAT and/or ACT score. The students receive points based on each criteria. The total number of points they receive determines which team they are placed on.
We applaud these student-athletes for their commitment and dedication to perform with the highest of excellence academically and on the field or court.
Congratulations Ray Glancy, Davis Pouncil, and TJ Solesbee!

Apply online prior to the job fair, bring copies of your resume, and be prepared for a possible interview the same day!
If there isn't currently a job for which you qualify, come anyways! New jobs will be added as they become available and you'll be one step ahead if we have your resume.
The event is come-and-go from 9 - 11:30am
Nominate at GISD staff member for a High Five Award!
The Leopard High Five program is a way to salute any Gainesville ISD employee who goes above and beyond for our students, staff, and community. Whether you are a parent impressed with a specific interaction with your child, or you are a coworker who thinks the campus secretary doesn't hear often enough about the great job she is doing - you can send a Leopard High Five! Nominations can be made by any staff member, parent, or community member, and any GISD employee is eligible to be nominated for a High Five.
All nominations should include a specific example of how this staff member has gone above and beyond for a student, a peer, or the community and must align with one or more of our GISD core beliefs: Equity, Excellence, Diversity, Innovation, Partnership, Safe and Comfortable Environment.
