Dear Boulevard Families,

Even though this was a shorter, three-day week, our students and staff continued to make the most of every learning opportunity. Classrooms remained busy with engaging lessons, collaboration, and students working hard to become 1% better every day. We are proud of the focus and effort our students continue to show.

As we move through this time of the year, I hope that all families have an opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher during conferences. These conversations are an important part of strengthening the partnership between home and school. Conferences provide a valuable chance to discuss your child’s progress, celebrate their successes, and work together to support continued growth.

Looking ahead, when we return from Spring Break, we will begin the Ohio State Tests (OST) assessment season.

  • Students in Grades 3–5 will take the English Language Arts and Mathematics assessments.

  • Students in Grade 5 will also take the Science assessment.

To help students feel confident and prepared, it is very important that your child arrives at school on time each day, especially on testing days, so they can begin assessments with their class and in a calm, focused environment. A good night’s sleep and a positive start to the day also help students do their best.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our school community. We appreciate the role you play in helping our students grow academically and socially each day.

Wishing all of our Boulevard families a safe, restful, and enjoyable Spring Break. We look forward to welcoming our students back refreshed and ready for a strong finish to the school year.

Warm regards,
Principal Mahoney- Curry

Atentamente,
Directora Mahoney-Curry

Attendance Matters

Every day of school counts. When students attend school regularly, they build strong routines, stay connected to learning, and make steady academic progress. Our goal is to reach a 95% weekly attendance rate in every grade level, K–5, and we can only do this with strong family partnerships.

By ensuring students arrive at school on time and every day, families play a key role in reducing chronic absenteeism and supporting student success. Let’s work together to help every student be present, engaged, and ready to learn—because every minute counts at Boulevard.
