Dear Brahma Family,
On Friday, I had the privilege of attending the LA County Teacher of the Year Luncheon alongside Diamond Bar High School and Walnut Valley Unified School District Teacher of the Year, Mr. Jared Kaitz, who teaches our drama courses. Being present at an event dedicated to celebrating our profession was truly inspiring and uplifting.
During the halftime show of our Homecoming football game I had the honor of crowning our Homecoming Queen, Bayler Davis. Bayler is one of our amazing seniors, she is a member of our varsity volleyball team and aspires to pursue a career as a forensic pathologist. The Homecoming dance took place on Saturday at The Observatory in Santa Ana. Thank you to Activities Director, Mrs. Janna Van Horn and the entire United Student Body for their tireless efforts in coordinating and executing a fantastic Homecoming week.
This is an exciting week for our Fall Athletics Programs!
- Volleyball – Home Tuesday and Thursday. Thursday we battle Walnut for a share of the league title.
- Football – Varsity football at Trabuco Hills Friday night at 7:00PM.
- Cross Country – We will compete at Brea-Olinda Invitational Saturday.
- Girls Tennis – Home Tuesday and Thursday. Thursday we battle Walnut.
- Girls Golf – Monday at the Great Oak Tournament. Wednesday we take on Walnut at Mountain Meadows.
- Boys Water Polo – Wednesday we play at Rowland. Thursday we are home against Schurr HS.

DBHS is partnering with Fund Photos to provide an opportunity to take a classic family photo while supporting Diamond Bar High School at the same time! Due to the popularity of this opportunity more times have been made available for Saturday, September 30th and Sunday October 1st for a family photoshoot at Chino Hills Wetlands. There are only 3 more time available to book. Make your reservation now!

Each reservation gets a 15 minute portrait session and 2 digital images with a $50 donation to DBHS. There is a $3 convenience charge that will not go to DBHS.
