Happy Monday, Timberwolves!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween! A BIG THANK YOU to our students, staff, and families for making Friday's pep rally such a fun and exciting time at Lee! We love seeing our Timberwolf spirit on full display!

As we move into another week, we have a few important reminders. Be sure to read the Veterans Day information below as we prepare to recognize and honor those who have served our country. Also, please remember that all affidavits need to be turned in.

We will also have Student Advisory Groups on Thursday! Take a few minutes to ask your child what goals they have set for the second nine weeks. These conversations are a great way to encourage students to take ownership of their learning, reflect on their progress, and think about what they want to accomplish.

As always, our focus remains on our mission of Learning, Motivating, and Serving as we work toward our vision of ensuring the academic success and positive social growth of every student. We believe in continuous improvement, strong partnerships with our families and community, and the shared responsibility we all have in helping every student succeed.

Help Lee Middle Honor Our Heroes!

As we work to keep our student records up to date, we want to share a friendly reminder regarding Affidavits of Residence. Parents, legal guardians, or lawful custodians are required to provide an Affidavit of Residence along with two documents verifying their current address.

Acceptable documents include property tax records, mortgage or security deed documents, a current lease or rent receipt, a current electricity bill or electricity application, or voter documentation showing the current address.

For your convenience, Notary Public services are available at all Coweta County schools during school hours to assist with completing your affidavit.

Already submitted one? No need to do it again! If you have already submitted a 2026–2027 Affidavit of Residence due to a change of address or new enrollment in the Coweta County School System, you do not need to submit another affidavit. If you're unsure whether we have one on file, simply give your child's school a call, and we will be happy to verify it for you.

If you still need to submit an affidavit, please provide the completed affidavit and two address verification documents to your child's school by Friday, December 18, 2026.

Thank you for helping us keep our records accurate and up to date. We appreciate your partnership and all that you do to support our schools and students!

Give your child a special birthday shout out while supporting our Broadcast & Film class! Families can sponsor a birthday wish that will air during our morning announcements.

How to participate: Submit the Birthday Shout Out Form, then send your donation to school in an envelope labeled with your student’s full name and homeroom teacher. Students should deliver the envelope directly to Mr. Davenport in Room 136.

💙 Suggested Donation: $5 — any amount is appreciated!

All donations help purchase equipment and production supplies for our student broadcast team.

If you were unable to make it to our Title I Annual meeting, you can view the presentation on our Title I website. Our Title I website also includes the School Improvement Plan, our School-Parent Compact, and resources for supporting your student's success. To request a physical copy of any Title I document, please contact our Title I Family Engagement Coordinator, Julie Hiltz julie.hiltz@cowetaschools.net.
