Five Good Things in Spring

Shoutout to all our Spring ISD schools hosting Open Houses and welcoming families into the heart of learning! 🙌 These nights are about building strong connections between parents, teachers, and students. When families show up, students level up, and that teamwork makes all the difference. 💚 Huge thanks to our parents for staying engaged and our campuses for rolling out the red carpet, you’re keeping the home-school partnership thriving!

Check the Spring ISD website and click "Schools" at the top of the screen to find your school and when open house will be held!

Carl Wunsche High’s Vet Science students got a special treat as Benny the Donkey trotted in for his annual visit from TMR Rescue! Students rolled up their sleeves and dove into hands-on learning—practicing haltering, checking vitals, and picking up real-world donkey care skills. 🩺🐴 Benny may have stolen the spotlight (and hearts), but the real win was the amazing experience for our future veterinary pros. Way to go, Phoenixes—you’re learning, leading, and loving every step of the way! 🌟

Spring ISD is coming together to celebrate Suicide Prevention Week with powerful purpose and spirit! 💪 From September 15–19, students and staff are uniting for Together for Hope Spirit Week 2025, featuring themed dress days that make every step a statement—from repping your favorite team to rocking your workout gear. Each day gives us a chance to raise awareness, spark conversations, and remind each other that no one is alone and help is always within reach. Let's fill our halls with color, kindness, and connection as we stand up for mental health and a brighter future.

Shake your groove thing! Our Wells Wolverines PACKED the floor at the NJHS and StuCo “Back to School” dance! 💃🕺 The music was loud, the moves were nice, and the vibes were electric. Huge shoutout to NJHS and StuCo for hosting an unforgettable night that kicked off the year in true Wolverine style. Let’s keep this momentum rolling all year long! 💜

Roberson Middle School’s 8th grade Law students turned into junior investigators today with a virtual visit from a Latent Print Analyst at the Houston Forensic Science Center! 💻 They learned how fingerprints unlock clues and how science plays a huge role in solving cases. Big brains, sharp skills, and unstoppable curiosity—our Razzors are proving they’re ready to take on the future of law and justice! ⚖️
