Wildcats, the Countdown Is On! 🐾
The 2025–2026 school year is just around the corner, and Forest Glen is ready to welcome our students with open arms and high expectations. From important back-to-school dates and other tools for staying connected as well as opportunities to get involved, we’ve packed this newsletter with everything you need to start the year strong.

Welcome to the 2025 School Year Welcome to the 2025 School Year

As principal of Forest Glen Middle School, I pride myself on being a visible, approachable leader who values open communication and genuine partnership with families. You’ll often find me in hallways, classrooms, and at events, celebrating the incredible efforts of our students and staff. It’s important to me that our entire community feels connected, informed, and uplifted throughout the school year. Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, know that you’re part of a school community that is committed to ensuring the success of all students.

A little about me, I’m passionate about student growth, staff support, and creating a school culture where everyone feels they belong. I believe in high expectations paired with high support. At Forest Glen, we believe every student can learn, grow, and thrive when surrounded by caring adults and clear expectations. My goal is to lead a school where learning is engaging, behavior is purposeful, and every child is known and celebrated.

This year, we’ll be focusing on building strong relationships, fostering a sense of ownership and pride, and ensuring consistency in routines and expectations. I ask families to partner with us by reinforcing the importance of attendance, effort, and kindness every day.

In the coming months, we’ll also be working to form a PTA, and we’ll need your help! A strong parent organization helps shape school events, support teachers, and create lasting memories for our students. If you’re interested in helping us get this started, we’d love to hear from you, please email: patrickdoyle@spsk12.net.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. Let’s work together to make this a year full of joy, discovery, and success!

Dr. Patrick Doyle
Principal

Home Access Center Home Access Center

Middle school students will be released in the Home Access Center on August 12. If you are new to Suffolk Public Schools, your child’s school will create a Home Access Center (HAC) account during registration. It might take up to 72 hours to activate. HAC accounts provide valuable information to families. A HAC account provides families with grades, email addresses, schedules, attendance, transcripts and state test scores.

  • Easiest Way to Email Your Child’s Teachers: Once you are in your HAC account, clicking on the teacher’s name provides a hyperlink to start a direct-connect email. Some might need to right-click on the hyperlink to copy the address, open their email service, and then paste it into a new email address.
  • If HAC has locked you out, the system will not allow access until the next day after its daily automatic refresh. After the next day, your child’s school can help you reset your password.
  • If you need to connect more than one child to the same account, your child’s school can assist you.
