Bring the Magic of Broadway to your Community!
Fall Spotlight Program: Your Name Is A Song
Using themes from Your Name Is A Song by Jamilah Thompkins-Bigelow, students will work with a Teaching Artist to celebrate the power, music, and beauty in their own names. Through prompts provided by Inside Broadway, our Teaching Artist will guide students in learning the importance of respect, practice active listening, and build self-advocacy skills. Together, they will use theater techniques to build a script about standing tall in who they are, honoring cultural differences, and fostering a supportive community of courageous self-expression.
