GRAMMAR GAZETTE
Back-to-School Edition!
Thursday, March 9, 2023
Dear Fabulous Nova Classical Families,
The year is flying by, and spring break is just around the corner. We are hoping for more sun and less snow as we transition to spring, one of the busiest times of the school year. Be on the lookout for information about upcoming activities and ways to get involved as we move into the last quarter of the year in just a few short weeks.
We hope to see you at our next Virtue Assembly on Wednesday, April 5, at 9am. Our kindergarteners (Ms. Knudsen and Ms. Koehler's classes) will be presenting on the virtue of Fortitude. This will also be a spirit wear day. Scholars are always invited to wear spirit wear tops with uniform bottoms on our assembly/spirit wear days.
As always, please let us know if you have any questions.
Warm Regards,
Ms. Tousignant
Kudos!
Winter Weather Challenge
We had over 250 students share proof of their reading during our snow days a couple weeks ago and earn non-unform tickets. Way to go, Nova Classical scholars! We LOVE that you love to read!

Grandparent/Special Person Day - April 13!
We are excited to bring back this cherished event! Nova Classical Academy is pleased to host the special people in our students' lives, so that they might experience the unique nature of our learning community.
Grandparents and special persons will be greeted in the Great Room at a welcome table for check-in and refreshments, and then escorted to classrooms.
All guests must RSVP here, so we may be well prepared to welcome all of our guests. If there is a physical or medical circumstance that we should be aware of, please include that in the RSVP. The last day to RSVP is Friday, April 7th. Feel free to contact Ms. Gabor at vgabor@novaclassical.org with any questions.
*Due to space issues in the classrooms and in the parking lot, we ask that only Grandparents and/or Special People (and not Parents) visit on this day. Thank you.
Please join us in the Great Room for refreshments before and between your classroom visit(s).

Traffic Reminders
Traffic & Carpool Lanes
Please be sure to plan a bit of extra time in the morning to ensure that your scholar is able to enter the building, stop by their locker, and still report to class on time. The building opens at 8:15 AM.
During drop off in the carpool lane, please be sure to drop scholars off quickly. Pull up as far forward in the line as possible. Do not double park or stop in the parking lot to drop off students, as this impedes traffic movement. Use care when re-entering traffic from a stopped position along sidewalks. Parents should remain in their vehicles and depart as soon as their scholar is safely on the sidewalk.
Cars should not be parked and/or left unattended in the carpool lane. If you would like to walk your child to the door, please park in a designated parking area to do so.
