Asthma, Allergies and Seizures
Health Conditions - If your child has any of the following conditions, an action plan is needed: Asthma or Allergy, (requiring an inhaler/rescue medication (epinephrine), Diabetes, Seizures or other Chronic illness.
New paperwork is required every year and needs to be updated every school year. Please bring in to the office, email it to the nurse (fuller.nicole@westside66.net) or have doctors office fax it to 402-343-2608.
If we do not have an action plan in place and something happens we will follow district policy which includes Rule 59.
Medications - All prescription or over-the-counter medications must be reported to the nurse. Students are not permitted to keep any type of medication with them or in their lockers. Only exception are inhalers and EpiPens.
Students are not allowed to carry any OTC medications with them at school.
