The District is updating the system for facility requests on campus.

This document contains everything you need to know to complete your request for facility maintenance.

Incident IQ is your starting point: for maintenance, follow the outlined steps.

As it was shared during the Staff Meeting, if you need to submit a detention, use the link in insidemabears

Detention will be offered 4 days a week (M,T,W,TH) and students will have three days to complete the assigned detention

Important: if you are assigning detention to a student, you must notify the student in person. Please communicate with the guardians as well.

Please record the event under "intervention"

Flex Time starts this week, please log in to TeachMore and explore the updated platform.

You can access TeachMore directly here: TeachMore Staff Portal

You can also go to mabears.org and click Flextime in the upper-right corner. This will take you to the student page, so you’ll need to remove /students/ from the end of the URL to access the staff portal.

If you have any issues logging in or cannot see your students when creating appointments, please let me know so I can ensure you are in the system on my end.

Here are the changes you should be aware of:

• A More Modern, Streamlined Experience: The updated TeachMore platform has a cleaner, more modern look and feel. The goal is to make it easier for staff to navigate and manage Flex without adding unnecessary clutter.
• Custom Offering Comments: Staff can now add their own comments when creating appointments or offerings. On the student side, the existing canned comments will remain in use.
• Student App: There is now a functional TeachMore app for students!: Given our limits on cell phone use during instructional time, I’m not sure how much we want to encourage students to use the app versus making appointments on their computers. That said, the app is very simple to use and makes it easy for students to create and see where they are supposed to go for Flex.

The new seating chart in IC will now allow you to take attendance without your TA (the old one wouldn't let you do that). If you would like to continue taking attendance with the seating chart, follow these steps to incorporate your TA into the section: THANK YOU TOMIKO!

• Open up your seating chart > Edit
• At the top of the screen > Edit Sections
• Click the checkbox to add your TA section
• Place your TA in your seating chart
• Save

Look for an email from Tomiko on Friday 8/28 for more specific guidance.

The computers in the Staff lounge are now online and connected to the printer for extra needs.
