KEWASKUM DISTRICT NEWS

MESSAGE FROM THE DISTRICT ADMINISTRATOR
It’s halfway through summer break, but the work at the school district certainly hasn’t stopped!
Our summer school program was a tremendous success, and I’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the incredible staff who made it all possible—those who planned, taught, and supported our students every step of the way. Once again, we saw an increase in student registrations this year, and it was easy to see why. The variety of engaging classes offered something for everyone—from crafting stories about beloved Disney characters to hands-on adventures like archery and geocaching.
When students are off, it’s a great time for us to finish important facility upgrades and maintenance. If you’ve been by the high school, you’ve probably noticed some major activity on the roof. We are in the process of replacing the 1995 roofing. We’re also replacing the nearly 25 year-old carpeting at Farmington Elementary School. At Kewaskum Elementary School, we are replacing the outdated front-of-classroom technology. On top of all this, we have our normal deep cleaning and maintenance projects to keep our facilities looking fantastic for our students, staff, and community. Thank you to all the facilities and technology workers this summer for all their hard work.
Finally, many of our staff have been very busy during the summer working on improving our curriculum, engaging in reading professional development, and working together to create a positive and engaging start to the school year for our students.
That’s only a glimpse of the many things going on this summer in the Kewaskum School District. I hope you're all enjoying a fun and relaxing summer! If you haven’t had a chance to register for the upcoming school year yet, now’s a great time to check it off your list. You’ll find everything you need on our website at www.kewaskumschools.org, or by referring to the email sent to families on July 9, 2025.
