Camelot Weekly Drawbridge
January 17, 2025
Dear Camelot Scholars and Families,
This week, we honored the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We reflected on his incredible perseverance in the face of challenges, his unwavering commitment to justice, and his belief in the power of respect and responsibility to create meaningful change. At Camelot, we see these values alive in our students every day as they strive to be safe, respectful, and responsible.
During the month of January, our focus on perseverance is a wonderful opportunity to reinforce these behaviors in our lessons, interactions, and daily choices. Dr. King’s life reminds us all of the importance of staying committed to what is right, even when the path is difficult.
As we take the day off of school on Monday, January 20th, let’s take a moment to reflect on why this day is significant and how we can continue to honor Dr. King’s legacy through our actions and our learning.
Warmly,
Brooke Perry
