Plan NB: Classes at Northbrook
On Monday and Tuesday Upper School classes met at a different location. Our friends at Northbrook Baptist Church allowed our classes to meet in their facility while the Omniplex was hosting a large-scale event. HUGE THANK YOU to Northbrook for generously offering their building to help us out!
Johnny Appleseed Activities
Elementary students had a blast this week celebrating Johnny Appleseed Week as they conducted experiments with apple themed activities, ate some yummy apple snacks, and learned more about showing kindness, generosity, and taking care of the environment.
Many Hands = Quick Work
Upper school students took a few moments to lend a hand at the OmniPlex. When everyone pitched in, putting away around 150 chairs was done in a matter of minutes. This was a great help to the staff at Omni.

Fair Queen 2026
This year's CCS representative for the Cullman County Fair Queen competition is Miss Molly Kilpatrick. Molly is the daughter of Joshua and Jaime Kilpatrick.
Molly will compete at the 2026 Fair Queen pageant on the evening of Tuesday, October 20th. For the talent portion of the competition, Molly will be singing. Her platform highlights the benefits of providing opportunities for youth in fine and performing arts. As a part of her work in this platform, with the help of the CCS Fine & Performing Arts Department and Thespian Society, students in grades 4-8 have the opportunity to participate in a weekly after-school theater camp.
Please make plans to support Molly as she represents CCS at the Fair Queen competition.
Theatre Camp
The CCS Fine & Performing Arts Department and Thespian Society are excited to offer an After-School Theater Camp for students in 4thβ8th grade!
The camp will begin Wednesday, September 23, and will meet each Wednesday from 2:45β3:30 p.m. at the Beech Campus through our CCS Talent Show on October 29 at the Omniplex (Time TBA).
During theater camp, students will have the opportunity to develop their acting and performance skills through theater games, exercises, coaching, and preparation for the stage. The camp is designed to help students build confidence, creativity, and comfort performing in front of others.
The camp will also give students an opportunity to prepare for the CCS Talent Show. Participation in theater camp is not required in order to participate in the talent show, but it is encouraged for students who would like additional practice, coaching, and performance experience.
We are also excited that the theater camp will support CCS Fair Queen Molly Kilpatrick and her platform, as she works with us to encourage and support our younger performers.

CCS Business Directory
We are excited to begin creating a Cullman Christian School business network, a new way for our school families to connect with and support businesses within our own CCS community.
If you or a member of your family owns or operates a business, provides a professional service, or is self-employed, we would love to include you!
Whether youβre a doctor, dentist, veterinarian, attorney, accountant, realtor, contractor, plumber, electrician, landscaper, photographer, insurance agent, small business owner, or provide another product or service, please complete the short form below.
The information will be compiled into a CCS Business Network Directory that families can use when they are looking for products and services. Our hope is simple: when a CCS family needs something, letβs give them an easy way to support another CCS family first.
Businesses will also have the option to offer a 10% discount to Cullman Christian families. Participation in the discount program is completely optional. You can still be included in the directory even if you are unable to offer a discount.
Please submit your business information by October 23rd. If you have a change throughout the year please let us know and your information can be updated.
We look forward to supporting one another and discovering just how many businesses and professionals are represented within our Cullman Christian community!
