A GREAT START TO THE SCHOOL YEAR!
Dear Panther Families,
Academics are in full swing, and it has been wonderful to see our students learning, socializing, and having fun as they settle into the school year. As the school year gets underway, we ask that you help your student get a good night’s sleep and monitor their use of social media and other apps, as these can have a significant impact on their well-being and school experience. Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We truly appreciate all you do to help our Panthers have a successful year!

A Friendly Reminder About Neighborhood Parking
As a reminder, please be mindful of our neighbors when dropping off or picking up students. Please do not park, wait, or leave your vehicle in front of neighboring driveways, even for a few minutes.
Keeping driveways clear allows our neighbors to safely enter and exit their homes. We appreciate your cooperation and consideration of our neighbors.
Thank you!
Reminder: Dress Code Expectations
Dear Panther Families,
Now that we’re back at school, it’s time for students to transition from summer attire to clothing that is appropriate for the school environment. We kindly ask families to review the school dress code with their students to help us maintain a comfortable, respectful, and focused learning environment.
Clothing should be appropriate for school, safe for daily activities, and undergarments should not be visible. If a student arrives at school wearing something that does not meet the dress code, no worries, we will work with them to find a solution. Students may change into their own PE clothes or use loaner PE clothes provided by the school. As a last resort, a parent or guardian may bring appropriate clothing from home.
We appreciate your partnership in helping students make choices that show respect for themselves and our school community.

Volunteering at Price
Thank you for volunteering with the Cambrian School District. Volunteers support our classrooms, events, field trips, and school communities in meaningful ways.
Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, all volunteers must complete new clearance requirements before volunteering, aligned with new California volunteer requirements and designed to support student safety.
Deadline: All current volunteers must complete the new clearance process by October 12, 2026. Beginning October 13, 2026, only fully cleared volunteers may continue volunteering. Please start early. Outside agencies process fingerprint results, and the District may take up to two weeks to receive and review them.
SEPTEMBER IS ATTENDANCE AWARENESS MONTH!
ATTENDANCE IS CRITICAL
As students settle into the rhythm of middle school, we want to highlight how much daily attendance matters during these important years. Middle school is where students build the study habits, responsibility, and independence they'll rely on for the rest of their academic journey—and showing up every day is a big part of that. Missing class means missing more than just notes; students loose out on class discussions, group work, and direct instruction that are hard to fully make up later. Even occasional absences can add up over a school year and affect grades, confidence, and connections with teachers and peers. We encourage families to help students prioritize regular attendance this year, as strong habits now set the stage for success in high school and beyond. Thank you for partnering with us to help every student show up ready to learn!
