October 14th, 2026
Note From Principal Pautler
Bulldog Families,
Happy Fall Break!!!
As we wrap up the first quarter of the school year, I hope everyone takes advantage of the next few days to relax, recharge, and enjoy some well-deserved time away from school. Students will be out Thursday, Friday, and Monday, with classes resuming on Tuesday, October 20th. Enjoy the break, spend some time with family and friends, and come back ready for a strong second quarter!
Congratulations to Bulldog Volleyball! Our volleyball program has advanced to the State Tournament, with games beginning next Thursday! We are incredibly proud of our team and all the hard work that has brought them to this point. Let's show our Bulldogs some support as they compete at the state level! Students planning to attend the state tournament may (grades, attendance, behavior) qualify for a state activity absence. However, the appropriate form must be completed. Please review the specific information provided below to make sure all requirements are met.
Homecoming Is Just Around the Corner! It's hard to believe, but Homecoming will be here before we know it! A quick reminder that we have moved the Homecoming Parade to Wednesday, October 28th, at 9:45 a.m. For those planning to watch, we encourage spectators to park in the two lots east of the football stadium. Both sides of Pine Oak should also provide great viewing opportunities. Our students will be lining the other sides of campus to enjoy the parade as well. We still have a couple of weeks before the festivities begin, but we wanted everyone to have the updated information as you make your plans. We look forward to another fantastic Homecoming celebration!
Fall Ball Is Coming! Fall Ball is quickly approaching, and we're looking forward to another great evening for our Bulldogs! Students who would like to bring a guest who does not attend EMHS may complete a guest form beginning October 26th. Please remember that middle school students are not eligible to attend, and guests must be no more than one year out of high school. Fall Ball tickets will go on sale November 2nd, so mark your calendars!
As always, thank you for being part of what makes Edmond Memorial such a special place. Whether you're cheering on our volleyball team, enjoying the Homecoming festivities, or getting ready for Fall Ball, there are plenty of opportunities to celebrate being a Bulldog!
Have a wonderful Fall Break, everyone. Rest up, enjoy the time away, and we'll see you back on October 20th!
Go Dogs!

Volleyball to the State Tournament
Congratulations go out to our Volleyball team as they head to the state tourney this next week. One of our traditions is to host a "Dog Walk" for teams as they head off to state. Our Volleyball dog walk will be either Wednesday or Thursday during advisory but we won't know which until the tourney schedule releases. Stay tuned.

We will share the complete tournament schedule as soon as it becomes available. For now, we do know the locations:
