ATTENDANCE MATTERS AND SO DO YOU!!
WHO'S UP FOR TRIVIA?
Do you know...?
...when the internet was created? The internet was created in the 1960s as the result of a U.S. military project called ARPANET, which connected computers at four universities in 1969. While the foundation was laid in the 1960s and 1970s with the development of ARPANET and crucial protocols like TCP/IP, its evolution and public accessibility continued through the 1980s and 1990s, particularly with the creation of the World Wide Web.
1960s:
The precursor to the internet, ARPANET, was developed by the U.S. Department of Defense. The first message was sent in 1969 between four universities.
1970s:
ARPANET continued to expand, and key protocols like TCP/IP were developed to allow different networks to communicate with each other.
1983:
The official "birth" date is sometimes cited as January 1, 1983, when ARPANET officially adopted the new TCP/IP protocol.
1990s:
The creation of the World Wide Web by Tim Berners-Lee made the internet much more user-friendly and accessible to the public.

Parking Lot Expectations!
Recently, there have been growing concerns about students driving recklessly and at unsafe speeds in the school parking lot. This behavior puts everyone at risk—drivers, passengers, pedestrians, and staff. The parking lot is a shared space where safety must come before convenience or showing off. Speeding, cutting through spaces, and driving on access roads are unacceptable and may result in a loss of parking privileges. All students are expected to drive responsibly, follow appropriate speed limits and remain aware of their surroundings at all times. Additionally, you may not be driving on the access road behind the school. There are construction vehicles and other machinery present while the area is under construction.
