Hello Bulldog Families.

Adjusting to a new time change is always a challenge but having more light in the mornings in our parking lots is a plus! We have a lot of important traffic flows on our campus during the morning and afternoon, so the added daylight makes us all feel a little more safe.

This edition of The BHS Express is full of wonderful photos of BHS students and student groups representing BHS in a positive manner. Take a few moments to scroll through the photos and celebrate some of the wonderful things our kids are doing!

On Tuesday of next week, November 11, 2025, we will be celebrating Veterans Day. Our senior class is organizing an Honor Brunch to celebrate some Veterans who are important to our BHS students. I can’t wait to share some photos with you next Friday.

It looks like our weather might be turning a little cooler this weekend, so I hope you all have dug out the winter coats!

Have a great weekend.

In service to our Bulldogs.

Hello Families,

The time change has brought more daylight back to our mornings and less in the evening. Not sure how I feel about this debate. Anyhow, please make sure our student drivers are arriving on time and safe. Also, now is a good time to remind them that as it gets darker sooner in the evening to continue to be aware of their surroundings.

The first full week of November is behind us as we approach Thanksgiving break in a couple weeks. It will be here before we know it.

Thank you, and have a nice weekend.

Joe Moorehead, Dean of Students

The FAFSA Application opened October 1!!!!

  • The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for students entering or attending college for the 2026-27 academic year is up and running! Any student that is thinking about attending any type of education/training after high school should complete the FAFSA - technical school, trade school, community college, public university, or private university. The FAFSA is what determines your eligibility for student loans, grants, work-study, and scholarships - thus, it is VERY important that you complete and submit it. Keep in mind, all students are eligible for student loans! We will continue to share information and helpful resources with you and your family as we receive it!

  • The Ohio Department of Higher Education would like to share that the 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available for all families to complete. Families who want to start filling out the FAFSA now can start the process at studentaid.gov.

  • For additional assistance with FAFSA completion, please visit itsforyou.org, and look under the “Looking for FAFSA Help?” section for more information
