Early Dismissal Program - Sept 10 First ED Day

Please note that your ASE tuition and enrollment does not include attendance during early dismissal days.

ASE students who regularly attend on the day of an early dismissal are eligible to sign up for the Early Dismissal Day Program. ED program days end at 5:00 pm for MCS staff trainings.

If you want your child to attend the early dismissal program days you can register them on Arbiter Sports starting at noon on Wednesday, August 27. (Currently all early dismissal days are scheduled for Wednesdays. If your child is enrolled in the Tues/Thurs weekly program option they are not eligible to attend).

The first early dismissal day of the 2025-26 year is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10. The registration link to sign up for the ED program day on the 10th will close at the end of September 5th. ED program registration generally closes a week prior to the scheduled ED day to allow our team time to plan for staffing and events.

You can sign your child up for all ED days that they are qualified to attend at the start of the year or you can sign up as you go. Please note that there are no refunds or credits for ED days not attended and/or canceled.

Fall Enrollment Schedule to Fill Vacant Seats:

September 2nd, The ASE and ESAP Interest Questionnaires reopen at noon. Submissions will be addressed in the order that they are received
September 12th, Notifications regarding placement in a program or a waitlist will be emailed
September 15th, Start date for new students with completed registrations

Completing the Interest Questionnaire for either of the programs with waitlists does not constitute enrollment in the program. To be transparent, we want to be clear that seats in full programs will be filled as students withdraw. However, please note that historically, we do not see many families withdrawing from the program.

Introducing New Collicot ESAP/ASE Site Supervisor!

We are pleased to announce Owen O'Brien as Collicot's new ASE/ESAP Site Supervisor!

Owen spent the past three school years working at Collicot as an ABA paraprofessional. Last school year, Owen joined the Collicot ASE team as an inclusion aide. He is very excited to welcome returning and new students and to form a team that will deliver every student the most enriching and fun year possible!

MCS 2025-26 Staff

Yesterday, August 26, all MCS staff attended a program-wide training on organizational policies and procedures, inclusion practices and curriculum expectations and then split up to meet at the individual schools to review site-specific roles.

Following these trainings, we are excited to get to know your family and are looking forward to a fun and successful ASE and ESAP year for all!

The 2025 MCS Summer Camp Program

We were thrilled by the success and amount of fun and learning that occurred at both Camp Cunningham and Camp Tucker this summer!

Camp Tucker's first summer of STEM based learning was very positive. Jen Van Hill, the Instructional Technology Specialist at Tucker and Glover Elementary schools, developed and taught interactive and fun STEM lessons. Additionally, including all campers and staff in the Camp Tucker field trips built strong bonds and shared experiences.

Camp Cunningham returned with the swimming program at Cunningham Pond and campers at both camps were kept busy all day by rotating through cooking, art, STEM, drama, and sports and movement specials as well as weekly special events!
