Laramie is a responsible young lady who stays on top of assignments and excels in her work. She always has a smile when she walks down the hallways each morning. She’s such a positive example for her peers. Thank you, Laramie!

Living Wax Museum of Scientists

FCMS 6th graders participated in the first annual "Living Wax Museum" of Famous Scientists. They performed research, created project boards, and dressed in costume as the person they researched. Students were amazingly focused, engaged, and demonstrated their knowledge with confidence!

Brandon Saho

So awesome to welcome Brandon Saho to Franklin County High School! Former sports reporter at WLWT-TV in Cincinnati now a nationally-known advocate on mental health. Brandon spoke with FCMS 8th graders on Thursday to kick off the Youth Summit.

Youth Summit

Mrs. Candice Kercheval and Mr. Chad Gutzwiller worked hard on the third Wildcat Youth Summit, a mental health initiative for teens. What's even better is that a group of high school leaders, the Youth Leadership Team, has been hard at work planning their sessions for all 8th grade students! Their mission is to empower students to become confident advocates for mental health and well-being by providing tools to build self-esteem, foster resilience, and navigate family dynamics. Through education, collaboration, and support, we strive to create a community where young voices lead the way toward a healthier, more connected future.

Spring Dance

Saturday night, 7th and 8th graders attended the annual Spring Dance. Students had a blast dancing the night away with friends. They also enjoyed games and concessions in the cafeteria.

Thank you to all the chaperones and especially to Mrs. Noah and student council for making the dance such a success!
