Opt In: Summer Device Take-Home
Student Devices Available for Summer Learning
Dear BCS Families,
As we wrap up the school year, weβre excited to share that all students (except graduating seniors) have the opportunity to opt in to keep their district-issued devices (iPads and Chromebooks) over the summer.
This option is designed to support students who may not have access to a personal device, allowing them to utilize our Summer Learning Toolkit, which will include educational and community resources for continued learning. Students can also stay connected to familiar platforms and digital tools, encouraging ongoing exploration and growth throughout the summer months. More information about the Summer Learning Toolkit will be shared soon.
As a reminder, students are responsible for the care and return of their devices, as outlined in the annual technology agreement signed at the beginning of the school year. This includes any loss or damage that may occur over the summer, along with any associated replacement costs.
This program is opt-in. To have your student keep their device over the summer, please contact their school to register by Friday, May 8, 2026. If you do not opt in, the device will be collected and remain at the school.
π Internet Filtering
BCS internet filtering remains active year-round.

π» Need Help Over the Summer?
Our tech support team will be available throughout the summer! If you need assistance with your studentβs device, a help ticket link will be available on the BCS website under Summer Programs.
Additionally, if you move out of district this summer, please submit a support ticket to coordinate a time for the device to be returned.
