You can use a motor that spins and spins or you can use a motor that spins, stops, and then reverses direction -- or you can use both:

  • The rotational servo can rotate an arm from 0-180 degrees. You might program it to start at 70 degrees, pause for 2 seconds, then move to 110 degrees, pause for 2 seconds, and then repeat.
  • There is also the continuous servo. These will spin in a direction continuously.

Wire your motor

Each wire connected to your servo has a different job and needs to be connected to the right spots on your Circuit Playground Express for it to work.
