This Week at PRMS
September 18, 2026
š Principal's Corner
Hello families,
It has been an absolute joy to see our hallways and classrooms bustling with energy once again. The start of a new school year always brings a sense of renewal, and our staff has been working tirelessly to ensure this year is our best one yet.
As we settle into September, our primary focus is on establishing the routines that will carry our students through a successful academic year. Children thrive on predictability, and the habits formed during these first few weeks are foundational. You can support this at home by setting consistent bedtimes, designating a quiet space for homework, and having your child pack their backpack the night before.
Thank you for trusting us with your children. I encourage you to stay engaged, read our weekly updates, and reach out to your childās teachers or myself with any questions. Letās make it a great month!
Uplift Pine River Kids
Uplift Pine River Kids is a community supported food program for Pine River students. Upliftās goal is to supply families/students with extra food on the weekends and holidays during the school year. The bags of food will be delivered to your studentās locker after school. They are placed in the studentās locker by a staff member. Uplift does not know any studentās name. We are just given a number of bags to be delivered to each building. Parents may pick up family members' bags. If you are stretching your budget to purchase food for your family, let Uplift help you. Upliftās goal is to make sure no student goes hungry. To sign up, please go to pineriver.org and click on the uplift link.
