Dear PS 199 Families,
November has arrived, and with it, a season of gratitude and reflection. As we move deeper into the school year, I want to take a moment to celebrate the growth we’ve already seen in our students. Classrooms are alive with curiosity. Students are building stronger reading habits, exploring new math strategies, and working together with growing confidence and care.
Looking Ahead
This month brings several opportunities for connection. Parent-teacher conferences a month away (Thursday, December 4th). This Thursday, November 6th, will be a regular school day. These conferences give us a chance to talk together about your child’s progress and goals for the months ahead. We truly value these conversations as they strengthen the partnership that supports your child's success. Information regarding sign-up will be shared in the coming weeks.
Reminders

Please send your child with weather-appropriate clothing as the temperatures drop.

School will be closed for Thanksgiving break from November 27-November 28.

Report cards will be sent home on December 3rd.
