MONSTER COLLAB!
Sending a BIG shoutout for the Monster Collaboration!! This was SO ADORABLE!!! It was so great to see our kindergarteners, middle schoolers, and high schoolers connect today in such a fun and meaningful way.
Our Principal, Mrs. Gutierrez had this to say:
"Our HMS and HHS students absolutely blew me away with their talent and dedication! The monsters they created were spot-on—so many little details matched the kindergarteners’ drawings perfectly. You could tell they worked hard to make them just right. Seeing them hand-deliver the monsters was the best part—the smiles, the excitement, and all the hugs said it all! Heartwarming!
Then to top it off, they sat down and helped the kindergartners create stories about their monsters. It was the sweetest bonding time. Our kindergarteners got to look up to role models who showed kindness and patience, and our older students got to experience what it feels like to give back and make someone’s day.
To our middle school and high school teachers—thank you for guiding your students through this project. What a powerful way to teach creativity, empathy, and leadership.
To our kindergarten teachers—thank you for prepping your students and helping them feel confident and excited. Their joy was contagious!
This was such a special moment of connection across our schools!"
