Welcome to the "Nest"!
From the Principal's Desk
We had an awesome first week of September at the Branch. Thank you students for working hard on your MAP assessments Thursday and Friday. On Monday, September 8th, we will finish up our MAP assessments with our 6th graders will taking the Science test. Any students who were absent for MAP ELA/Math assessments will complete these tests on Monday as well.
Students are expected to bring their laptops to school every day FULLY charged. Parents we are kindly asking that you assist us in making sure that students are meeting this expectation.
High School EOCs will be administered at the end of the semester for English 2, US History, Biology, and Algebra 1. Parents we kindly ask that you remind students to be on time for class, pay attention, and be actively engaged in their learning so that they will be prepared for upcoming EOCs.
Parents and students, please remember that teachers have office hours once a week after school for an hour. Students please utilize these opportunities to get extra help or to make-up/retake assignments.
Congratulations to the Scott's Branch Varsity football team for their win against the Manning Monarchs this past Friday!
Rise up, Eagle Nation, and meet the expectation!

Suicide Prevention Awareness Month
September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness, to educate, and to remind one another that every single life matters.
Suicide does not discriminate. It touches families, friends, schools, and communities everywhere. Too often, it grows out of silence, stigma, and struggles that people feel they must carry alone.
This month, we come together to break that silence. To remind each other that itβs okay to not be okay. To show that help is out there, that support is real, and that no one has to walk through their darkest moments alone.
Each of us can be a light. A kind word, a listening ear, or simply being present can truly save a life. Let us use this month as a call to actionβto speak up, to stand together, and to spread hope.
