Despite the many challenges they faced, 112 students fulfilled their IB commitments this year, including 25 (italicized) who are IB Diploma Candidates. They are just finding out their results, and we are proud of how well the students have done! 23 earned their IB Diplomas, with two-thirds of them scoring high enough to earn 30 quarter units/20 semester units at any UC.
The next list shows our scholarship winners. While we had several outstanding nominees, Nasma Wali-Ali was chosen as Inderkum's DP Student of the Year for her outstanding scholastic achievements and her contributions to the community, both near and far. Funds for his award came from the California Association of IB World Schools (CAWS). Our very own Inderkum IB Committee also had the difficult job of selecting 8 students to receive $4000 worth of awards.
Seniors complete a survey for me yearly. Most gave permission to share their next destination. Finally, even though each can only enroll in one, the list of colleges and universities where they were accepted is quite impressive and will give you a sense of Tigers' aspirations.
