Hey, Reynolds Families!

What an amazing week at Reynolds Middle School! We were honored to welcome our Prosper ISD School Board members and Superintendent, Dr. Ferguson, into our classrooms! They were truly impressed with the level of student engagement and discourse they were able to witness in classroom across all content areas. Our students are thinking critically, participating in meaningful discussions, and showing a deep commitment to their learning on a consistent basis! This is a testament to the hard work of our teachers and the support our students receive from you at home—thank you for being such an essential part of their success!

We also want to extend a huge thank you to all the families who attended our CTE Expo Night and 6th Grade Parent Information Meeting. It was incredible to see hundreds of families engaging with our staff, exploring the exciting programs we offer, and learning more about the opportunities available to our students. The excitement and enthusiasm for the 2025-26 School Year couldn't be higher!

Happy School Counselor Appreciation Week! At Reynolds Middle School, we are incredibly grateful for our amazing counseling team—Elizabeth Beeson, Kristin Decker, Keely Scottow, Kassie Vaughn, and our long-term counseling sub, Jana Hancock. Their dedication and compassion make a world of difference in the lives of our students, staff, and families every day. From offering guidance and support to fostering a positive school environment, they go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Thank you for all that you do!

Reminder that you course selection should be completed in both Skyward and on Course Selection sheets by February 21st.

Counselors will be revisiting 6th and 7th grade classes the week of February 17th to confirm completion. If you have questions, please reach out or you can attend our Coffee with the Counselor next week!

All course selections that are entered by the deadline of February 21st will have an equal opportunity of getting their first choice classes. Please be sure to have thoughtful conversations with your student as a family since classes are not picked on a first come, first serve basis.

The Cafe Loop is not permitted for student drop off and pick ups.

Student drop offs and pick ups are also not permitted at the MPF.

Prosper ISD's Middle School Code of Conduct states that pajamas and slippers or house shoes are not appropriate for a classroom setting, but may be permitted on special dress days. Please help us ensure that our students are not wearing pajama pants, slippers, or house shoes to school. Thank you!

The Student Council is going to be selling Valentine's Day Grams during lunch on February 11th and 12th, 2025! Each gram costs $3.00 (cash) and comes with a fun note and a sweet sweet treat to share with your friends.

Valentine's Day Grams will be delivered on February 13th, 2025, just in time for Valentine's Day.

Reynolds Middle School and the Reynolds PTO are thrilled to host our FIRST Festival of Nations on February 27, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the RMS Cafeteria!

This exciting event will celebrate the rich diversity within our school and community, highlighting how diversity enhances our lives and broadens our perspectives.

We would like our REYNOLDS FAMILIES to be a part of this wonderful celebration! Whether you want to showcase cultural traditions, performances, displays, or activities, this is a great opportunity to contribute and shine.
