It has been a crazy, busy week at PCHS! And it will not let up until graduation!

National Honor Society inductions will be on Wednesday in the PCHS gymnasium. The high school ceremony will begin at 9am. The junior high ceremony will begin at 1:30pm.

Our 7th & 8th graders completed ACAP testing this week. We are proud of their effort and attendance this week and we are proud of our teachers effort all year long in preparing them for this important measure of their knowledge and growth. We will not get the results back until sometime this summer but we will keep you informed.

Our prom was held Saturday night at Scottarosa Farms. Our Prom Moms and our Juniors did an outstanding job creating a night to remember for our students and their dates. Congratulations to our Prom Queens and King. Sadie Hill and Summer White tied for Prom Queen. Ethan Waldecker was a runaway pick for Prom King.

Our FFA competed in the North District Competition this week. 37 FFA members traveled to Wallace State Community College with Mr. Beason and competed in multiple contests. (More info below)

Congratulations to our baseball team on winning the Class 2A Area 14 championship. The beat Colbert Heights Friday night to capture the title. We will host Geraldine on Friday at 5 & 7:30pm. Game three will be on Saturday at 1pm if necessary. There is a chance of rain both days. If there are any changes to the schedule we will post it on our Facebook page.

Congratulations to Hagen Raper on a couple of recognitions. He was named AHSAA West Alabama Player of the Week in baseball and Franklin Free Press player of the week.

Our softball team beat Sheffield in an area game this week. Softball will play Haleyville on Monday. It will be Senior Night for our lone Senior Bella Welch. The recognition will be after the first game.

Friday will be a half day for students. We will dismiss student at around 11:30am on Friday.

Have A Great Week!
