News from Mr. Duncan
We’ve had a short but jam-packed week here at Willowdale. Learning is in full effect as we transition from beginning of the year routine-building to skills practice in all grades K-5. Whether it’s language arts, math, unit studies, gym, music, or anything else, collaboration, effort, and learning are everywhere to be found with our Wildcats. What I have truly enjoyed is seeing smiles and hearing laughter throughout these learning experiences.
Our Fun Run takes place next Friday. Thank you for all your support in helping your child acquire pledges to meet our goal. It takes a whole community to accomplish great things. There is still a full week left to gather more pledges. Let’s keep up the momentum!

Sept 11th is the last day to pay for the Cooperative Loss Program
Cooperative Loss Program is basically "iPad insurance" in case something happens to the iPad, the repair cost is cheaper. This program is only for 3rd-5th grade students because they can bring their iPads home should they need it for homework. The cost to enroll in the Program is $15.00 and can be paid through ParentVue under Fees, or a check/cash, can be sent to the office.
The deadline to particpate in this program will be Friday, September 11th. After September 11th, the window to join closes and the fees will be removed from ParentVue.
More information is stated below and a list of iPad repair costs.
