Happy Spring, Bateman Families!
As the flowers begin to bloom and the days grow longer, we are filled with excitement for the season ahead. Spring brings a sense of renewal to our school and it is the perfect time for us to come together as a community.
The Spring Fling: Our Biggest Event of the Year!
While spring is a time for growth, we must be candid about the upcoming school year. As many of you are aware, our school funding has been steadily declining. To bridge the gap and continue providing the high-quality programs, resources, and experiences our students deserve, we rely on the generosity and spirit of our community now more than ever.
That is why this year’s Spring Fling is more critical than it has ever been.
The Spring Fling is not just a celebration; it is our single largest fundraiser of the year. Every ticket purchased and every auction item bid upon goes directly toward supporting classroom curriculum, resources, and ensuring our school remains the vibrant, high-achieving environment our students need.
Get Your Tickets Today!
We are calling on every Bateman family, neighbor, and supporter to show up for our students on Friday, April 24th. Please do not wait—tickets are available now and selling fast. By securing your tickets early, you are not only guaranteeing your spot at our most anticipated event, but you are also helping us plan a truly successful, impactful night.
Whether you attend to socialize, participate in our silent auction, or simply to show your support for our school’s mission, your presence makes a tangible difference.
Thank you for your continued dedication to Bateman Elementary. Let’s make this Spring Fling one for the record books and ensure our students have the resources they need to continue to thrive.
Warm regards,
Ms. Davos & Ms. Kloepper

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week - We Need Your Help!
It’s almost time to celebrate the real MVPs of our school… our AMAZING teachers and staff! 🎉
From early mornings to late nights, lesson plans to life lessons, and everything in between — our school team pours their hearts into our kids every single day. Now it’s our turn to show them just how much they mean to us.
We’re kicking things off early with something BIG:
Our goal is to gift every single teacher and staff member a gift card as a small token of our HUGE appreciation. But we need your help to make it happen — and we’re on a tight timeline to pull this together before May 4!
How You Can Help (Right Now!)
We’re collecting donations to fund gift cards for the entire school staff. Every dollar goes directly toward saying “thank you” in a meaningful way. No amount is too small — it all adds up quickly when our community comes together.
Please consider donating today HERE
Stay tuned for the full week of fun surprises and activities coming soon… but for now, let’s rally together and make sure every staff member feels seen, appreciated, and celebrated!
Let’s show them just how incredible this school community really is 💛
