Students of the Month
Dryden High School staff members recently voted to recognize students from each grade as Students of the Month. In conjunction with the Positivity Project, a schoolwide initiative to build positive character habits in its fourth year, the March theme was Love of Learning. The Students of the Month received a letter from Dryden High School Principal Mary Finnigan, a "front-of-the-line" cafeteria pass, and a Dryden High School Student of the Month keychain, as well as sincere congratulations and appreciation.

Calendar Change: Dryden High School ONLY
Friday, May 15, 2026, has changed from a full day of school to a half day of school at Dryden High School ONLY.
Dryden High School will host the MHSAA Track and Field Regional 39 meet at Stremler Field on May 15. The event begins at noon. Because some members of the high school staff volunteer at the meet, many students are participating in or attending the event, and the parking lot will be needed for visitors, only Dryden High School will have a half day, dismissing at 10:35 a.m.

Senior Parent Yearbook Ads
Attention #proudcardinal Class of 2026 Parents:
If you're looking for a great way to honor your 2026 graduate, consider purchasing a Recognition Ad in this year's yearbook. A 1/4 page ad costs $80. There are several formats from which to choose. Here are some examples from last year's yearbook. A limited number of ads are available and are sold on a "first come - first served" basis. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Mrs. Palmerini at bpalmerini@drydenschools.org.
College Decision Day
Our seniors are going to college! Please help Dryden High School's Class of 2026 celebrate.
On May 1, our College Decision Day Celebration allows students to declare their intentions
and proudly state their college, university, trade school, training program, or military choice.
Items from this list will be given away to seniors at College Decision Day
to send them off with what they'll need in the fall!

Riddle of the Week
Last week's riddle:
What gets bigger the more you take away?
A hole.
Congratulations, Elly Roth! You were the first to submit the correct answer.
This week's riddle:
I cannot be seen, but my presence is clear. Dogs and small children consider me something to fear. I serve as a warning for a danger nearby, and I think that Thor is a pretty cool guy. What am I?
Submit your answer below for a shoutout next week!
