Hey parents, don't forget that Monday, November 2nd is a school holiday so let them sleep in because Tuesday will come soon enough.

Information from Mr. Richardson regarding his Dia De Los Muertos Project

Students are allowed to bring for my class any materials they feel they need, however most students like to use air dry clay, paint, and plastic flowers as well as a box of some kind (most students use old shoeboxes but can use any small or medium sized box. Due dates for each portion of the project are as follows: research questions due 10/27; essay due 10/29; and the creative portion due 11/6; all due dates are beginning of class unless stated otherwise. I will be monitoring students' progression throughout the project and may change the due dates when needed and appropriate.

Flat Stanely

As Flat Stanley begins to arrive at his temporary homes, many have asked how long he can stay to visit. Since we are entering the holiday season and this is a great time for trips, visits and adventures, please keep him, enjoy and have fun with him. I simply ask that he makes his way back to our school/class by March 1, 2027. This will give me about 60 days to share all of the interesting places he went and fun things he did with the students.

The Gum chewing is out of control at Trenton Middle School

Parents, please make sure your child is not contributing to the problem and remind your child that they are not allowed to chew gum while in school. We have had many situations where gum has been found on the tile floor in the hallways or on the carpet in the classrooms. This makes extra work for our custodial staff as well as ruins the clothes of others when they sit or step on it. Please be respectful and have them remind them we are a gum free campus.
