We had a great week last week and enjoyed celebrating our class of 2025 Seniors at their awards ceremony today! It is teacher appreciation week! Let's show how thankful we are for our amazing teachers for all they do for our children by supporting this year's celebrations.

- Wednesday, May 7th, Lee PTSA & New Century Tech PTSA will co-host a festive lunch for all our teachers & staff. Drop off food items on Tue, May 6, or before 10:00 a.m. on Wed, May 7.

Below is our current attendance rate. We have a goal of 95% this year. Please help us reach this goal by ensuring your child is here every day. If you child has to be out, please send excuses. The NEW attendance email address is LHS.attendance@hsv-k12.org.

• Attention Class of 2025 Academy for Academics & Arts graduates! Please plan to meet at AAA on Monday, May 19 at 2:00pm in your cap & gown for the annual senior walk!
• Attention FamiLEE! Mark your calendars for our upcoming awards days! Freshmen and Sophomores are on May 14th and then the Juniors are on May 15th!
• The SOAR HBCU Scholars Program is for rising 11th grade students. This is a great, FREE, opportunity that will help them understand what college life will be like after graduation. Please see the flyer below for more information!

• Attention Students and Parents/Guardians! Please note that students have the opportunity to visit their teachers for help during FamiLEE Time (11:30am-12:15pm) instead of going to clubs every Tuesday through Friday. Please see the attached schedule of teacher office hours and encourage your child to take advantage of this opportunity!

• Shout-out to our principal Mrs. Torain who won PTSA Principal of the Year and our Library Media Specialist Mrs. Fields who won PTSA Teacher of the Year at last week’s HCS PTSA Banquet!!! Also representing Lee High was Senior Alexander Ford who won a PTSA Scholarship!!!
