Escondido Lions Express
December 15, 2025
From the Principal
Hello Lion Families,
I hope you had a great weekend. Thank you for supporting our Breakfast with Santa event which was a lot of fun a great success. Also, don't forget to purchase your discounted Spurs ticket and support our Escondido Lion Choir on THURSDAY, December 18th (Spurs v. Wizards)! The date was changed from the 17th to the 18th by the NBA. We hope that you can make it. It's going to be extra special because our Lion Choir will be performing.
Please continue to remind your child to bring a coat or jacket to school. Please also see the school calendar for specific events happening this month.
As a reminder, morning drop off for all students is on the side by the cafeteria, unless approved by the principal due to special circumstances. Students should not be dropped off and left unattended before 6:50 a.m. Our staff arrives at their duty areas at 6:50 a.m. Thank you for your cooperation.
And another reminder, that on Friday, there is no school for students. Friday is a student holiday and staff workday.
Thank you for your continued support.
Warm regards-
-Esmeralda Garza, Principal

Student Lunch Schedule for Parents Having Lunch With Their Child
Designated tables on the cafeteria stage are reserved for parents who wish to eat with their child during lunch. Parents may only dine with their own child, and sharing food with other students is not permitted. Visitors are not allowed to eat with students who are not their child, nor may they purchase or share food with other students.
Additionally, restricting food sharing protects students with allergies and dietary restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide a positive and secure mealtime experience for everyone.
