BWMS Family Update
2/27/26
Welcoming March!
BWMS Community,
Crazy how we keep inching closer and closer to the end of our 3rd quarter. With that said, we do have our next What I Need (WIN) Day on Friday March 6th. As a reminder, this is a day when we can spend the last hour of school engaged in a common activity of choice. The reason we place our WIN Day at this point in the quarter is so we can support students with their unique needs. We appreciate the opportunity to support positive relationships among students and staff during this time. Likewise, any additional academic support can be provided to students during an assignment intervention to help with any end of term needs. Thank you to our staff as we continue to provide specialized programming to meet the needs of each student. Students will sign up for their WIN Day activity next week.
Enjoy the Weekend!
~Mr. Josh Frame

Counselor Corner
Attention families of rising 7th and 8th grade students, school counselors will be visiting your student’s classroom during the week of February 16 to collect their elective requests. You can review the middle school program of studies with your student HERE. Your student’s course requests for next year will be sent home for families to review before Spring Break. Please reach out to Megan Burden for questions about rising 7th graders (meganburden@bwls.net) and Lauren Greenspan (laurengreenspan@bwls.net) for questions about rising 8th graders.
Also, if you missed the presentation from Dr. Jordan about College Credit Plus, you can find the presentation here.
Summer Camp Opportunities
Attention families of rising 7th-9th graders! The Delaware Area Career Center is hosting its annual Summer Camp on June 2-4. DACC will offer nine camps this year, covering a wide variety of subjects and career fields. Each camp will be hands-on, engaging and fast-paced — allowing local middle school students to "try on a career" and learn new skills over a three-day span. They will get to learn from and alongside industry professionals and current DACC students, all while making new friends who have similar interests. It is a great way to kick off your summer and begin to experience the magic of career-technical education in your own community!
Registration will open Wednesday, March 4th at 6 a.m. Visit DACC's website for more information on this year's camp offerings and DACC Summer Camp in general!
