All students must enter the CAHS doors off the large lot at the north end of the building. However, the only vehicles that should be entering the large lot in the morning are school buses, staff cars that are parking for the day, student-driven cars that are parking for the day.
The student drop-off lot is the small lot at the south end of the building. After students are dropped off in the small lot, they will then walk around the building to the main entrance doors (see photo below). This is necessary so that they enter with all students at the main entrance to go through the metal detectors.
There is to be no stopping or dropping off on McGuffey in the area between the COTA Bus Stop and the CAHS Entrance (see photos below with two different angles of this area).
The only parking lot option for student pick up is the small lot at south end of the building. Students can exit any door for dismissal. Some parents also make arrangements to park and meet their students along some of the side streets in the neighborhood.
