Making Our Mark
We highlight the amazing things happening at our building every year with the D64 School Board. This year we shared our school theme of Making Our Mark.

All of our Franklin students, staff, and community members have made their mark on the hearts and lives of our Franklin Family. We are so proud to feature our amazing school community. We captured a few moments and a few of our Falcons to share how others were able to make their mark on their lives.

COVID-19 Tracker

You can view the current Franklin COVID-19 cases on the Franklin COVID-19 Dashboard found here. The dashboard is updated at the end of the day, Monday through Friday.

Winter Snow Gear & Recess

As we are in winter weather months, here are a few reminders about appropriate gear for recess:

  • Students are encouraged to bring winter jackets, snow pants, boots, gloves/mittens, and hats to school each day.
  • Please label all winter items with your child's first and last name.
  • Students need jackets, snow pants, and boots to play in the snow at recess.
  • Students without boots and snow pants must remain on the blacktop.
  • As long as the blacktop is cleared and the weather report states that the temperature outside feels like 10 degrees or warmer, students will go outside for recess.
  • We encourage you to send an extra pair of pants and socks in your child's backpack during winter in case student's clothes get wet during recess.

Tuesday, December 20: Wear holiday socks or hats/headbands or any silly socks, hats, or headbands

Wednesday, December 21: Wear Ugly Sweater, Holiday Sweater, or any silly sweater

1:30 - 2:30 - All 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade students

Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the start of each concert.

Lost & Found Out During the Holiday Sing

The lost & found will be out during the Holiday Sing. All items will be donated during winter break. Please stop by the lost & found at the Holiday Sing to find missing items.

Anyone Entering Franklin

All parents/guardians/visitors to Franklin must have a valid state ID or driver’s license. These will be entered into the Raptor identification system. This process only takes a short time to complete. Once you have clearance, a visitor pass will be printed and attached to a lanyard that you must wear throughout the building. The office will hold your ID until you return to the office and return the lanyard that was given to you. We request that you please be patient with staff as we proceed with this district-mandated safety procedure.

Student-Parent Handbook
Franklin Elementary School, along with all District 64 schools, operates following policies and practices that have been reviewed and implemented by the District 64 Board of Education. Please review the D64 Student-Parent Handbook before the start of the school year.
