THANK YOU! Big 10 Event was a BIG SUCCESS!
Big 10 Party? More like a Big 10 Success! Shout-out to our amazing Eagle community for supporting the fundraiser. Between the raffles, the auctions, and the flat-out kindness of our donors, weβve secured $6,000+ for student technology. You guys are officially "Elite 8" status in our book!

That's a wrap for the Book Fair!
We are thrilled to share some amazing news!
Our recent Book Fair was a soaring success! We want to extend a huge thank you to Ms. Vahey for her hard work and to our families for their continued support.
This year, the magic went even further. Thanks to the generosity of The Eagle Alliance Movement, who spent over $3,500 to ensure no child was left out in the Fall, and the "Scholastic Dollars" earned from your purchases, we were able to provide every student in the school with a book to keep.
Watching our students pick out their very own treasures was a wonderful reminder of what this community can do when we fly together!
Last Week for Penny Wars!
π Every Day Counts at Jungman STEM Magnet
This week's attendance rate is at 88%! This is a 3% DROP from the previous week!
Students need to be in school to learn. The data is clear: attendance is not optional for academic achievement.
- Currently, 68% of students with attendance below 90% are on Academic Watch. These students are failing to maintain a "C" average and are falling behind on standardized benchmarks.
Conversely, 76% of students who maintain attendance above 90% are meeting or exceeding academic expectations. Consistent attendance is the single most important factor in ensuring your student stays on track.
Attendance and Penny Wars: Penny Wars has started with the funding going to replacing our aging technology! Ms. Luzzi is offering $5.00 to the class within a grade band who has the best attendance each week! I'll also give 5.00 to any class who has attendance over 95%!
Jungman is currently working on our Continuous Improvement Plan, and family voice is a critical part of that process. We want to better understand how to engage, support, and connect with our families in meaningful ways.
Your feedback will help us improve parent involvement, strengthen our school community, and plan meetings, events, and opportunities that work best for you and your family. This survey is short and should take about 3 minutes to complete.
Thank you for taking the time to share your voice β your input truly matters.
You can find the survey HERE

Volunteer Process
To volunteer at Jungman, you need clearance, EVERY SCHOOL YEAR, from Chicago Public Schools! This requires a few steps!
- Login/Create an account online
- Bring your photo ID to the office or email it to Ms. Jessica at jmoreno83@cps.edu
