Corinth Elementary School Awarded Grant for All Kids Bike Program
Corinth Elementary School has received full funding through a grant through the All Kids Bike Program, a national movement dedicated to teaching young children how to ride bicycles as part of their physical education curriculum.
The grant provides Corinth Elementary with bikes and instructional materials designed for PE teachers to help students develop essential riding skills. Through the program, students begin by learning to walk, balance, and stride on the bikes. Once they master these skills, teachers transition the bikes to pedal mode, allowing students to learn how to ride confidently. Additionally, All Kids Bike offers teacher training and certification to ensure effective instruction.
For students, this opportunity extends far beyond simply learning to ride a bike. The program promotes physical and mental development, boosts confidence, reduces stress, and enhances focus in the classroom. Thanks to the generosity of donors, Corinth Elementary now has all the necessary resources—including bikes, helmets, and curriculum—to get its students rolling.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support from Care Inc. and All Kids Bike,” said school administration. “This program will provide our students with an essential life skill while also promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.”
The All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Learn-to-Ride Program is made possible through donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations dedicated to equipping schools with the tools they need to empower young learners. With this new initiative, Corinth Elementary students are on their way to experiencing the joy and independence that comes with learning to ride a bike.
First in Math Virtual Regional Tournament
Students completed skill sets by using critical thinking skills to create equations to solve mathematical puzzles.
First in Math uses innovative game-based learning technologies and offers students instant feedback, direct instruction, and the freedom to make mistakes without penalty. The games are scaffolded from the pre-kindergarten level through eighth grade and beyond to provide an onramp to success with engaging content.
Every child in our district has an account and are encouraged to play at home too. If you haven't seen it before, ask them to show you. Building foundational Math skills with this platform is super fun!

What is the meaning of politeness?
A way of being nice and kind in our speech and actions; a general attitude of respect for others;
ways of showing that you value others; you may hear your parents say, “BE polite!”
“Always make sure to say your ‘pleases’ and ‘thank yous’! Being polite can show respect, care, and kindness towards someone who may have just done something for you!”

Student Health Services
Our district has partnered with Saratoga Hospital to offer a Student Health Services initiative. An advanced practice provider will be available in our district to offer FREE medical care for all students. Some of their services will include: care for minor injuries and illnesses; mental health consultation; acute care prescription medication; and sports physicals. These professionals will share their time between the Elementary School and the Oak Street campus.
In order for students to take advantage of this great opportunity, parents/guardians must sign and return the consent form to their building principal. If you would like to learn more about this service, please follow this link to a recording of our presentation from December 6th, 2022. The Google Slide presentation is also available here.
