Summit Hill Elementary
November - Fly on the Wall
Message from Principal Aronow
Happy November, Summit Hill Families!
November is here, and weβre starting to feel that cool fall air! Please make sure your students come to school dressed for the weather so they can stay warm and comfortable during recess and arrival times.
As we head into the next few weeks before Thanksgiving break, we want to remind everyone how important attendance is. Every day of learning makes a difference, and we appreciate your help in making sure students are at school on time and ready to learn each day.
On behalf of our entire staff, we want to say thank you to all who participated in our popcorn fundraiser! Your support helps make great things possible for our students. Weβll be celebrating soon:
π¦ Ice Cream Party for the classes that sold the most popcorn β November 7th
ππ¬ Pizza Party and Candy Grab for the top sellers in each class β November 12th
Mark your calendars for our Title I Literacy Night: Under the Big Top on November 20th from 5:30β6:30 p.m. This will be a fun evening for the whole family filled with activities that support reading and literacy at home. Don't worry about dinner because we will have a food truck on site where you can grab your dinner to enjoy on your tailgate with friends or take it to go. We hope to see everyone there!
I hope everyone had an exciting October! As always, if you have any questions, please reach out at 903-745-4100 or at Aronow.Rebecca@HoweISD.net. We are committed to working hard for your child and believe deeply in their potential. Thank you for partnering with us on this journey of growth!
Warm regards,
Rebecca Aronow
