The 2026 Illinois Report Card is out, and Prairie Grove Elementary and Prairie Grove Junior High each earned an Exemplary rating. That’s the highest rating the state gives, and only about 28% of Illinois schools earned it this year. Students improved in every tested subject, including a 9-point jump in 3rd-grade reading.

Thank you to our students, staff and families for making this possible! For more on the results and what’s next, please see the letter from Dr. Larson.

Recognize a Valued Educator

Our teachers and staff show up for students every day with care, patience, and heart, often in ways that go unseen. Whether it’s a teacher who sparked a love of learning, a staff member who offered support during a tough moment, or someone who simply brightens the day, we invite you to let them know the difference they’ve made.A few kind words can mean more than you might imagine, and every note will be shared with the person you recognize.

Thank you for helping us celebrate the people who make Prairie Grove so special! #OneBuildingOneTeam
