Mrs. Slominki's Young Fives Popcorn Sale - Regular $0.50 or White Cheddar $1.00

Last week, students were given the opportunity to run for student council. Interested students had to fill out applications that included their ideas for making our school a better place to learn. They also prepared speeches to present in front of their peers. Each 3rd and 4th grade classroom then held an election to select two student council representatives.

Throughout the year, these representatives will serve as leaders in our school. Some of their responsibilities will include helping with announcements, celebrating students' birthdays, changing the sign in the front of the building, and planning school spirit days. Mrs. Erica VanAlst, our school social worker, will be leading this group as we embark upon this opportunity to develop student leaders within our school.

Congratulations to the following students for being chosen by their classmates as the 2018-19 Student Council Representatives: Alexis Hagerty, Kinsley Conger, Emma Jaremba, Claire Streich, Hannah Dailey, Alex Rosenberg, Sophia Hampton, Mason LaVigne, Grady Galbraith, Jericho Orange, Colton Siler, Emma Keehn.

Does your child love art and want to express their creative side? We will soon be offering a 6 week after school program, just for them. Students will learn how to use different mediums of art such as:

★ Painting

★ Collage work

★ Drawing- Pen and Pencil Work

★ Sculpting

★ Abstract/Pop Art

This program is open to all students in Grades K-4 and will run from Tuesday, October 23rd - Thursday, December 6th from 2:45-4 p.m. at K.C. Ling. The cost to attend is $40.00 per student. Supplies will be provided. To register, complete the registration form below.
