Steck Weekly Announcements 09.04.26

Dear Steck Families,
Steck Eagles did a terrific job with our safety drills this week. They were prepared and took the drills very seriously. As we learned about school safety and practiced our drills, we talked about the importance of these skills both at school and in the community. We are so proud of them! Both the Aurora Fire Department and the Aurora Police Department shared high praise for a job well done!
Thank you for attending Curriculum Night. It is always wonderful to see so many families attend. If you were not able to make it, your child's teacher will share information with you.
District 204 Elementary Schools have three early release dates this school year (9/24, 12/15, 2/4). Right At School is a before and after school program at Steck. Even if your child does not regularly attend Right At School, they can attend Right At School on these early release dates. If interested, please register (link here). Please remember to notify the school office (not the teacher) if you are changing dismissal, even for one day.
There is no school on Monday due to Labor Day.
Enjoy the weekend!
Sincerely,
Dr. Pohlmann
